Golf Coruse Architecture (PDF)
Golf Course Industry (PDF)
World Golf Wire (PDF)
Swedish Golf Online (PDF)

From the Golf Course Industry article:
"After a series of in-depth meetings at February's Golf Industry Show in San Diego, The Wisley Golf Club in London, designed by renowned architect Robert Trent Jones II, has signed a major reconstruction project with international golf course specialist Sternberg Golf Services of Sweden. The renovation, which will begin in April, will feature the installation of Sportcrete, a revolutionary engineered bunker-lining and drainage technology."
Bruce Charlton, President/Chief Design Officer, RTJ II, LLC, remarked:
"I was stunned with the ability of the Sportcrete bunker-lining system to provide extremely rapid drainage of the bunkers during and after a prolonged rain event that placed more than two inches of rain throughout the morning tour of the course, especially since it had rained heavily the night before. The bunkers had not experienced any washouts and had no standing water. During this post-design inspection visit, it was agreed to create more visible sand sight lines from the tee shot on a number of bunkers by raising the sand/grass lines. With the Sportcrete lining system, this is a very simple and quick process. It is the only lining system, to my knowledge, that can be accomplished with such little disruption. This efficiency in making revisions to bunkers was paramount in my design decision-making process as we made refinements to the bunkers."

Sean Dyer comments on Sportcrete's Outstanding Performance - November 2009

At Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California, the host site of the Chevron World Classic this December, and where Sportcrete recently finished a full course installation, Director of Agronomy Sean Dyer had this to say about Sportcrete's performance:
"We [just] received our first major rainfall since February over the past few days. In total, we got over 2.5 inches. We only had one bunker wash out and it only took 15 minutes to repair. We drained so well, that they were playable the same day. Unbelievable. Normally we would have spent all day pumping the bunkers out and then separating the silt from the sand. There was none of that this time. The Sportcrete worked magnificently. My members noticed too."

After the installation on hole #1, (12 hours later), we received 3 inches of rain and there were only minimal washouts and zero contamination. As long as the piped drainage in the bunkers worked, there seemed to be no limit as to how much rain the bunkers could take because of hydraulic effect of Sportcrete.
